Product Description

BT-93™ is a concentrated alkalinity builder for steam boiler water treatment. BT-93 maintains proper boiler water hydroxide alkalinity to aid in sludge conditioning and efficient removal through boiler blowdown. Use BT-93 when boiler feedwater supply is low in natural alkalinity and hydroxide alkalinity cannot be maintained above 200 ppm in the steam boiler.

CERTIFICATIONS
BT-93 is CFIA and NSF G6 certified for use in boilers where steam produced may contact edible products.

Directions for Use

STEAM BOILER TREATMENT
BT-93™ should be used only under the supervision of a trained State Chemical Account Manager. Add BT-93 as needed to maintain boiler alkalinity at recommended values, typically 200 - 300 ppm as hydrated alkalinity. Recommended values for alkalinity will vary with the treatment program. The amount of BT-93 needed to maintain the required level of Hydroxide alkalinity will vary with local water conditions and boiler operation.

pH ADJUSTMENTS:
BT-93 can be used to adjust pH in water systems such as waste water applications. For best results, BT-93 should be controlled by an integrated pH control and monitoring system.
